Ms. Quijada - Third Grade Teacher
I attended Cochise Community College in Douglas, AZ and graduated in 2011 with an Associate’s Degree in Elementary Education. I then enrolled in Western New Mexico University and graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education.
I began working at Omega Alpha Academy as a 2nd grade teacher then transferred to a 3rd grade classroom. I am happy to announce that this year marks my 5th year with this wonderful institution. It is such a pleasure to work at Omega Alpha Academy where I have continued to grow through meaningful and effective Professional Development. OAA has helped me learned how to be an effective teacher and provided me with the tools necessary to continue developing my teaching skills.
As an honored member of Omega Alpha Academy’s Instructional Leadership Team and Instructional Coach, I play a vital role and I am committed to providing all our students with the education required to be college and career ready. It is through collaborative efforts and the organizing and facilitating of school-wide professional development that I contribute to the ongoing success of our school.
